Accessing Service Resources
All service media files, setlists, sermon slides, and announcement materials are downloaded directly from the church's Resource System.
Portal URL: Resources
Procedure: Log in with your team credentials, locate the folder for the current week's service date, and download all required files.
Account Requests: If you do not have an account yet, please email clement@bemcharis.org.
Importing & Categorizing Files
After downloading the weekly assets, import them into ProPresenter 7 and assign them to the correct Library:
Launch Software: Open ProPresenter 7 on the operator machine.
Import Files: On the top menu bar, click File > Import > select File or PowerPoint.
Select & Import: Browse and select the downloaded sermon slides, announcements, or media files, then click Import.
Category Assignment (Pop-up Settings): In the import dialog box, make sure to assign each file to its corresponding Category / Library:
Sermon Slides → Select PPT 讲员
Church Announcements → Select PPT 家事
Worship Songs → Select Lyrics
Creating Playlist & Adding Items
Create New Playlist:
In the Playlists section on the left sidebar of ProPresenter 7, click the + icon to add a new Playlist.
Naming Convention: Standardize using the service date format YYYYMMDD (e.g., 20260830).
Locate Items in Library:
Navigate to the appropriate Library folder on the left sidebar: PPT 家事, PPT 讲员, or Lyrics.
Pro Tip: If the library is full of items, use the Search Bar at the top of the Library panel to quickly find files by song title or sermon topic.
Add to Playlist:
Once the file is located, Right-Click the file, choose Add to..., and select today's Playlist (YYYYMMDD).
Arrange the Order:
Inside the Playlist, drag and drop items to match the service run-sheet (e.g., Pre-service Announcements → Apostles' Creed → Praise & Worship → Pastoral/Family Announcements → Sermon Script/PPT → Response Song → The Lord's Prayer).
Duplicate Files (If Needed): If an item needs to be used more than once, Right-Click the file → select Duplicate.
Applying Themes to Lyrics
To ensure clean typography, consistent font sizing, and uniform screen alignment, you must apply the official Theme to imported songs:
Standard Application (Full Song - Dual Language Template):
Click to select the song in your Playlist.
Click the Theme button on the top toolbar.
Navigate to: Black $\rightarrow$ main worship dual lang.
All slides within that song will automatically update to the unified bilingual layout.
Handling Exceptions (Single Slide - Single Language Template):
If a specific slide contains only Chinese or only English lyrics (with no translation counterpart):
Right-Click directly on that specific slide.
Select Theme $\rightarrow$ Black $\rightarrow$ main worship single lang.
Duplicated Items: If a song or presentation has been duplicated, you only need to apply the theme to one instance. All duplicates will update automatically.
Assigning Macros for Stage Displays
To ensure the worship team and speakers on stage see the correct Stage Screen Layout, you must assign the corresponding Macro to the first slide of each presentation segment:
Drag and Drop Macros:
Locate the Macros panel in the bottom right corner or sidebar.
Worship Songs: Drag the worship Macro onto the first slide of the song.
Sermon / Announcement PPT: Drag the ppt Macro onto the first slide of the sermon slides or church announcements.
Verify Application:
Check the first slide of the presentation.
If applied successfully, an [M] icon will appear on the top-right corner of that slide.
Duplicated Items: If a file has been duplicated, you only need to apply the Macro to one instance. All duplicates will update automatically.
Pre-Service Setup & Timeline Flow
Pre-Service Slides Auto-Loop Setup
Select the pre-service announcement / welcome presentation (Pre-Service Slides).
Set the slide transition timer to 5 seconds for continuous loop playback.
Standard Pre-Service Timeline (Example for 18:30 Regular Service)
Important Notice: Once the service starts, remember to reset the 5-second slide transition timer back to None. Otherwise, the slides will continue to auto-advance during the church announcement segment later in the service.
